We understand how the current mortgage ecosystem is integrated and that it is constantly evolving

Factors currently affecting companies in the Mortgage and Title Insurance Sector

Rising Mortgage Rates are Creating Headwinds

There are few sectors as large and volatile as the mortgage industry. Refinance originations are projected to fall this year by $1.3 Trillion. Our team can help you think through how best to reposition your mortgage or title business to optimize its value in a rising rate environment

Consolidation is (Finally) Happening in the Title Insurance Industry

Title Underwriters are acquiring top performing agents faster than ever before. Wall Street has gotten the memo too as private equity firms are now also competing to acquire agents. We expect consolidation to pick up among loan originators too. We are in constant contact with the most active M&A players in the sector

Tech is changing the industry. No seriously.

AI, Machine Learning, and Blockchain are changing the way that loans and title policies are being underwritten. No, we do not believe that Blockchain is going to alleviate the need for title insurance anytime soon and are happy to debate that topic with any twentysomething who wants to. But we do love working with tech companies who are making the mortgage/title industry more efficient and better for consumers

Speed Kills the Competition

Customers are demanding faster loan/title policy origination cycle times. Operators need to keep their eye on the ball to meet the demands of their clients. M&A and Capital Raising is a full-time job and management teams already have one. We have the industry knowledge to rapidly procure the capital that you need at the right valuation for your business.
